Karlov in winter

You can buy your ski pass online on our website or directly at the ticket offices in the resort. For discounts and special offers, we recommend registering in our e-shop and purchasing your ski pass in advance online (SKI ARÉNA KARLOV E-SHOP).

If you lose your ski pass, please contact the ticket office – we will be happy to issue a new one for a deposit of CZK 100. You will need to provide proof of purchase, or show that you bought it via the e-shop.

We have plenty of parking spaces available directly by the lifts. Parking is free, but in the winter season the number of spaces may be limited. For your comfort, we recommend arriving early.

Yes, card payments are accepted at all ticket offices and rentals, and by most service providers in the resort.

Yes – the Mountain Rescue Service (Horská služba) team is based directly in Karlov pod Pradědem.

If all slopes are closed due to adverse weather or a power outage, closure information will be published on our website and social media. In this case, we offer alternative dates for unused ski passes (i.e., those not activated by passing through the turnstiles). If one slope is open and the others are closed for any reason, information will be published on our website and social media; in this case, we do not offer any compensation.

There are several options in the resort. Ski Areál Myšák offers a conveyor belt as part of the ski school, and a connecting conveyor belt will comfortably take you from Ski Areál Myšák to the upper station of KarlovSki Express. For safety reasons, the conveyor belts in Sherpa Ski School are intended for lessons only.

You’ll find our ski schools by the lower lift stations. We offer lessons for all ages and skill levels, including private and group lessons. For safety reasons, sledging (bobování) is not allowed on ski slopes and runs or in their run-out areas, even when the slope is closed. This season, you will be able to use a prepared sledging zone by the Roháč cableway; its exact operating details will be published on our website www.skikarlov.cz.

Slope grooming with a snowcat takes place every day after day skiing ends, between 16:00 and 18:00. After that, night skiing starts and runs until 21:00. After night skiing ends, we groom the slopes again so they’re ready for the next day. Thank you for respecting our grooming operations, which help ensure safe, high-quality skiing.

We’ll still need to wait a little longer for the Snowpark and Fun Area 3 to open. These zones depend on sufficient snow and current weather conditions.
