Ski school operations: from 25/12 daily 9:00 to 16:00, evening lessons by arrangement.

You’ll find the school OFFICE right next to the ticket offices by the Karlov Ski Express cable car, marked with Sherpaski School banners.

Just starting out?

You can start at any age. With guidance from experienced instructors, you’ll find it easy. In Karlov we’ve prepared a special area for beginner skiers, a so-called kids’ ski zone, separated from the rest of the slopes for your safety.

If you’ve mastered the basics, head for the “big” hill. The wide pistes and comfortable chairlifts in the Karlov areas are perfect for improving your skills.

We are the only school in the region with our own accreditation from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT) – we carefully develop future instructors and then train them ourselves.
Our team includes both experienced instructors with international background and IVSI licences, as well as enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders who have plenty of experience – many of them are parents too.
Sherpa Ski School is the second-oldest, and also the largest, family-run ski school – founded in 2005 in Karlov pod Pradědem.
We love Karlov, we love the mountains. We like people and providing a very high-quality and safe service. We enjoy learning and we’re a fantastic team.
